Program Updates

In response to physical distancing, COVID-19 restrictions, and increased challenges and stresses, NAMI Montgomery County quickly adapted to provide our programs online. We are still doing what we do best – connecting communities of peers, but now we are doing so virtually!
 
Our Virtual Support Groups
NAMI Connection Recovery Support Groups are for individuals 18 years or older who have experienced symptoms of a mental health condition.
We currently have 10 monthly Connection Support Groups meetings – Click here to register
 
NAMI Family Support Groups are for individuals 18 years or older who are family members, significant others, and friends of people who have experienced symptoms of a mental health condition.
We currently have 5 monthly Family Support groups – Click here to register
 
Upcoming Classes
Our classes will be held online via the virtual meeting platform, Zoom. To participate in a class, participants must have consistent access to a computer or smartphone. To learn more about how to use Zoom for our programs, click here.

Our In-Session Classes
Bases y Fundamentos
(Basics class taught in Spanish)
Every Monday for 6 weeks, August 17th to September 16th from 6:30 – 8:30 PM.
 
Peer-to-Peer
Every Wednesday for 8 weeks, July 29th to September 16th, from 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM.
Family-to-Family
Every Thursday for 8 weeks, August 20th to October 8th, from 7:00 PM – 9:30 PM.
